DescriptionA poster advertising International Baseball Day, a game played between the U.S. Navy and Victoria in Australia, 8 April, 1945. The large lettering are in red and black. The game was played at the St. Kilda Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, with a start time of 1:30pm. Music selections were played by the Police Band and all proceeds went to the Prince Henry's Hospital, Sportsmen's Ward. Written in pen is the year, 1945, and the U.S. Navy won 3 to 1 in seven innings.
