With newspaper research and box scores it was determined that this game was played on August 13, 1890. Chicago won the game by a score of 6 to 4. The scorecard was printed with black ink and filled out with pencil. The scorecard opens horizontally. The page with the Cincinnati score includes advertisements for Sharp & Co. Munro Turkish Baths, Gatto's Cut Rate Ticket Office, Ye Old Homestead, Norwood Exchange, Wilson & Miller, Coon & Co., and Covington Turf Exchange. The page with the Chicago score includes advertisements for Belden Photographer, Frohman Bros. & Williams, The Stag House, Woltz & Co., Kahn the Haberdasher, The Enquirer Job Printing Co., The Cincinnati Enquirer, and Kentucky Turf Exchange. The front cover is printed in black and red ink and had a baseball diamond with a baseball in the middle, the base paths of the diamond reads "Cincinnati National League Club" and the baseball reads "A.S. Stern Prest. Harry Stern Secy & Tres. Tom Loftus manager 1890." The cover also includes advertisements for Wyckoff, Seamans & Benedict, and Erie Railway. The back cover is printed in black and red ink and has advertisements for Norwood Park, and Rogers' Royal Nervine.
