DescriptionThe scorecard is from an East Norwich Surprise Jr. vs. Woodbury Pioneers game in 1887. The game was won by East Norwich by a score of 17 to 7. The scorecard is printed with black ink and filled out in pencil. The front cover black and white and has small silhouettes of sporting scenes around the edges as well as larger drawings of a fingerless baseball glove, cleats, a man wearing a catcher's mask, a baseball bat and a Kiffe's Association baseball in the middle. On the cover reads "Adopted by the Long Island Amateur Association Kiffe's Association Ball and Brooklyn Amateur League." There is an insert that has a schedule from May 21 to August 27 for the Long Island and Brooklyn Amateur Base Ball Associations.
