DescriptionA typed letter on Masonic Temple Association of Detroit letterhead. This letter was written by A. E. Moschel, secretary, to Ty Cobb, February 7, 1955. The top left has a black-and-white illustration of the temple and to the right is the association's name, address and date of letter. It is addressed to "Mr. Tyrus R. Cobb, 48 Spencer Lane, Atherton, Menlo Park, California." Moschel writes in response to Cobb's letter of February 1st. He informs Cobb that he received his 32 degree in the Scottish Rite Bodies on January 25, 1912. He was elected first vice president of the Lou Burt Class of 1912. He was made a noble of the Moslem Temple on January 26, 1912, and honorary life member of City of Straits Lodge, #452, on May 7, 1921. It is signed "Fraternally Yours, Masonic Temple Association," with Moschel's signature.
