DescriptionA letter dated May 8, 1956 from President Eisenhower to Thomas Curtis wherein Eisenhower returns the mitt he used when throwing out the first pitch of the 1956 American League season. The mitt was to be donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. The letter is typed on The White House letterhead and includes an envelope (not shown).
