DescriptionWooden bat, 32 ounces, with rose stain handle and knob and dark brown stain barrel. Center of the barrel has "Louisville Slugger / 125 / Powerized" with an MLB logo to the right and "Genuine T141 / Chad Curtis / New York Yankees" near the end of the barrel. Bat has been signed "Chad Curtis 10-26-99" in silver ink on the barrel beneath the MLB logo. Barrel end tip is cupped. There is a dark brown adhesive stripe around the taper where the barrel changes color.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Chad Curtis of the New York Yankees to record two grand slam home runs in Game 3 of the 1999 World Series. The Yankees defeated the Atlanta Braves, 4-0, for their second consecutive title, third in four years, and 25th overall.
