DescriptionBlack leather shoes with black fabric laces. Tongues are slightly oversize and extend down over the tops of the laces with "Pearson / Big Guy / 28" handwritten in black ink. Bottom soles are leather with six metal spikes.
Bio/Historical NoteOn Opening Day, April 11, 1961, Los Angeles Angels right fielder Albie Pearson scored the first run in franchise history by stepping on home plate with these shoes. The visiting Angels went on to notch their first victory, beating the Baltimore Orioles, 7-2.
