DescriptionRubber home plate with a white top and black painted sides and edges mounted on a wooden slab. Underside is exposed wooden boards with "Groundskeepers Kirt Bakos, David Mellor, Gary VanderBerg and Scott M. Potrzebowski" handwritten in blue marker. There is also a paper attached with tape with the details of the base and the home runs.

Bio/Historical NoteHome plate from Milwaukee Brewers' County Stadium used during the 1998 season. This plate became the final stop for Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals and Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs during their road trips to Milwaukee when they each recorded their respective 64th and 65th home runs of the season. McGwire's came on September 18th and 19th. Sosa's were both hit September 23rd.
