DescriptionDiscolored white baseball with light-colored stitches. Surface of the baseball is abraded and stitching has come undone in many places, allowing the panels of the baseball to separate. No manufacturer markings are distinguishable.

Bio/Historical NoteBefore his days as an umpire, pitcher Hank O'Day helped bring the New York Giants their second world title. This ball was the last one used by O'Day to defeat Brooklyn of the old American Association, 3-2, in the final game of the 1889 World Series on October 29th, thus securing the title of "World Champions" for the Giants.
