Bio/Historical NoteBaseball used as the first pitch in the first night game of a World Series, played October 13, 1971 at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. The ball is autographed by Pittsburgh Pirates' pitcher Luke Walker. Pittsburgh's Luke Walker threw a strike to Baltimore's Paul Blair to start Game 4 at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. The Pirates defeated the Baltimore Orioles four games to three to win the 1971 World Series.
