Bill Zuber's Dugout Restaurant picture postcard

DescriptionA picture postcard with the image of pitcher Bill Zuber in a New York Yankee's uniform. To the left, it reads "Bill Zuber's Dugout Restaurant, Homestead, Iowa." Over his chest area it's signed "Good Hitting, Bill Zuber." The verso has "The Ten Commandments of Baseball" by Joe McCarthy and the bottom reads "Printed in the interest of Baseball by Bill Zuber's Dugout Restaurant, Homestead, Iowa." Bill Zuber and his wife purchased the Homestead in 1949, after his playing career, and ran it was in the family until 2006. He played under Joe McCarthy for the New York Yankees from 1943 to 1946.
