Letter from Jackie Robinson to Clyde Sukeforth

DescriptionA letter dated July 21, 1972 from Jackie Robinson to Clyde Sukeforth expressing his gratitude to Sukeforth for his role in the development of his career, particularly the "Rickey-Robinson" experiment. Robinson considers Sukeforth to have had a large and significant role in his career, and that Sukeforth should never underplay the role he played. The letter is typed on Jackie Robinson Construction Corp. letterhead and signed by Robinson. Also included, but not shown is 1993 letter from Clyde Sukeforth to Bud Leavitt and an article about Clyde Sukeforth.
