DescriptionPages 104 and 105 from the Frank Leslie's illustrated newspaper showing the Union Grounds in Brooklyn, NY. Published on November 4, 1865, the drawing in the center shows a game in progress between the Brooklyn Atlantics and Brooklyn Eckfords on October 13, 1965. Portraits of leading players from the clubs of New York, Brooklyn, and Newark are around the outside. Each player's name and team is printed above them. At the top center and middle outside are head shots of the club presidents. The verso (not shown) has an unrelated fictional story, pages 103 and 106.
