Ty Cobb is in the middle, leaning on a golf club and watching the ball Ruth hit. There is a third unidentified man on the right with his hand on his head. In the background there is a large sign with a picture of Franklin Delano Roosevelt that reads "USO deserves the support [...] every individual citizen." A crowd can be seen behind a bush.
