DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth pitching. He is on the mound and in mid pitch position. The ball can be seen in the air, just before it has reached the batter. According to the back of the photograph (not shown) Johnny Farreu is at 2nd base, Joe Glenn is the catcher and the umpire is Red Ormsby. Yankee stadium is visible and there is a large crowd in right field. There is a duplicate copy of this image that is zoomed and cropped to focus on the ball.
