DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth and the Legion marching band. The band is posed in two sections of the stands and Ruth is standing in the middle of an unidentified stadium. He is wearing a drum major's hat, holding a baton, and dressed in a Yankees home uniform. There are two flags behind him and about 50 people in street clothes behind the band. Based on the back of the photograph (not shown) this was taken in 1930.
