DescriptionWooden bat with a clear lacquered barrel and black stained handle with a small circle on handle left unstained. Rubber grip extends nine inches from knob down the handle. Grip has MLB logo and “21” in gold. Knob end: “10/25/22;” “28” in white; “3 75;” “1 5 M.” “Marucci” logo in center of barrel. “Handcrafted for Alec Bohm JB5-M Pro Model” at barrel end. Cupped bat end has “28” in black marker. Various blue/green bat rack marks throughout barrel.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Alec Bohm in Game 3 of the 2022 World Series to hit the 1,000th home run in the Series’ history. It was the second of five Philadelphia Phillies homers in the 7-0 win, which gave Philly a 2-games-to-1 lead in the series. The five home runs tied a World Series record, done three previous times – by the 1928 New York Yankees, the 1989 Oakland A’s and the 2017 Houston Astros.
