DescriptionWhite leather baseball with red and green stitching. Baseball has red stamps, including "Official Ball / National League / Leonard S. Coleman, Jr., Pres.," a "La Primera Serie" logo, and "Rawlings." Baseball is autographed on the sweet spot in black ink.

Bio/Historical NoteBaseball used and autographed by Fernando Valenzuela of the San Diego Padres during Game 1 of the La Primera Serie in Monterrey, Mexico on August 16, 1996 versus the New York Mets. The Padres defeated the Mets, 15-10. Le Primera Serie was the first-ever regular-season series played outside the United States or Canada.
