DescriptionNavy blue cap, size 7 1/4, with a team logo embroidered on the front, a red bill and a red button at the top crown. Rear center has an MLB logo patch. Underside of bill is light gray with a signature and "49" handwritten in black ink in the center. Interior cloth sweatband has three manufacturer labels, including "Authentic Diamond Collection," "New Era" and a sizing tag.

Bio/Historical NoteJosé Mesa sported this cap while amassing 38 consecutive saves in 1995, a single-season record since surpassed by Tom Gordon and then Eric Gagne.
