DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott captured reaching up as he catches a baseball. Ott has his head turned to the side with a serious expression on his face. Ott is on the tip toes of his left foot and his right foot is off the ground. The baseball is cradled in Ott's glove. He is dressed in a New York Giants road uniform. Based on Ott's uniform and his time with the Giants, this photograph was taken in either 1926 or 1927.
