DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Walter O'Malley, left, and Warren Giles, right, captured seated next to one another as they watched the second All Star game of the year on August 3, 1959 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Both gentlemen are dressed in suits. O'Malley is smoking a cigar while looking straight ahead. Giles is smiling. A caption is written on the back of the photograph and states, "Second 1959 All Star Game, Los Angeles Coliseum L-R Walter O'Malley with guest Warren Giles, National League President, in O'Malley's box back of home plate at All Star Game, Los Angeles." Based on the caption this photograph was taken on August 3, 1959 when the American League beat the National League 5-3.
