Giles prepares to place a spread on the cracker in his hand while O'Malley hold out a plate and Koufax is holding a napkin near the plate while smiling. All three gentlemen are dressed in suits. A caption is on the back of the photograph and states, "Warren Giles, National League President, receives an hors d'oeuvre from Dodger President Walter O'Malley at a dinner honoring Sandy Koufax at the Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles December 4. George Jessel, who served as toastmaster; Jack Benny, Phil Silvers, Danny Kaye, Nat King Cole, Lou Holtz, George Burns, Tony Martin, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin attended the affair at which $16,000 was raised for the Boy Scouts." Based on the caption this photograph was taken on December 4, 1963.
