Ken Griffey, Jr. 400th Home Run Autographed helmet

DescriptionBlack plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/8, with a red bill and a red "C" logo on the front. There is an ear protector on the proper right side. Helmet has been signed in silver marker on the proper left front and side, "Ken Griffey Jr. 30 / 4-10-00 / HR 400." There is leather-covered foam padding around the interior sweatband with extra foam padding at the rear center and around the ear protector. Interior top crown has a round foam pad with "R. Stowe" handwritten in blue marker. The manufacturer labels on the interior include "American Baseball Cap," "Diamond Collection" and warning stickers. "Rob Butcher" and "Tony Walter" are written in blue marker on two of the stickers.
Bio/Historical NoteBatting helmet worn by Cincinnati Reds' outfielder Ken Griffey, Jr. on April 10, 2000 when he recorded his 400th career home run, becoming the youngest player in the history of the game to reach that mark. Ken Griffey, Jr. was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016.
