DescriptionGold New York Mets 1969 World Series championship ring that was given to Gil Hodges. The ring features a round, clear stone in diamond-shaped sitting atop blue square stone. The writing around stone reads "New York Mets World Champions 1969." The right panel has a Mets logo with a banner at the top reading "14 Hodges MGR." The left panel has "Shea Stadium" with banners above reading "Eastern Division, National League, World Series." Crown below has "Mets v. Orioles."
Bio/Historical NoteThe New York Mets defeated the Baltimore Orioles four games to one to win the 1969 World Series.
