New York Mets World Series ring

DescriptionGold New York Mets 1986 World Series championship ring given to Commissioner Peter Ueberroth. The ring has a rounded square face featuring one larger diamond set in blue stone and surrounded by 24 smaller diamonds. "World Champions 1986" wraps around the stones. One arm has "Mets" and the World Series trophy engraved in it. The other arm has "Ueberroth" and the Mets logo engraved on it.
Bio/Historical NoteThe New York Mets defeated the Boston Red Sox four games to three to win the 1986 World Series. Peter Ueberroth was Major League Baseball's sixth commissioner of baseball from 1984 to 1989.
