Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Craig Biggio of the Houston Astros on Opening Day on April 1, 2003 against the Colorado Rockies in his first season as the club's regular center fielder. This marked his third full-time position with Houston, after four years at catcher and 11 years at second base. The patch on the sleeve honored the seven astronauts who died aboard space shuttle Columbia earlier in the year. The Astros would wear Columbia's mission patch on the right sleeves of their uniforms for the entire season.
