DescriptionWhite polyester shirt, size 50, with six clear buttons running down the front placket. Front chest has "Dodgers" in blue appliques and "42" in red appliques below on the proper left side. There is a signature on the "4" applique in black ink, "James Loney 7." Proper left shirttail has a manufacturer label, "Authentic Collection / Majestic," with a sizing tag and "Property of Los Angeles Dodgers 2008" below. "Loney" and "7" is handwritten in black ink on the manufacturer label. Proper right sleeve has a blue, gold and white patch, "Los Angeles Dodgers / 50th Anniversary / 1958-2008." Proper left sleeve has "LA" in blue appliques with a blue embroidered manufacturer logo below. Reverse has "42" in blue appliques with an MLB logo patch at the top back of the neck.

Bio/Historical NoteOn April 15, 2008, James Loney joined the entire Los Angeles Dodgers team in wearing Jackie Robinson's number 42 on his jersey, honoring the 61st anniversary of Robinson's major-league debut. During this game, Loney extended his hitting streak to 14 games.
