DescriptionWhite polyester shirt, size 46, with six white buttons down the front placket. There is blue trim around the sleeve ends. "Royals" and "4" are in blue appliques on the front chest. There is a blue manufacturer logo applique on the proper right upper chest. There is a team logo patch on the proper left sleeve and a circular patch with "DG" embroidered in blue with a gold embroidered crown above on the proper right sleeve. Proper left front shirttail has a black manufacturer label with a white sticker label below which has an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Back side of the shirt has an MLB logo patch at the top back of the neck along with "Gordon" and "4" in blue appliques.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Alex Gordon, the longest tenured member of the Kansas City Royals, during the team's first home game of the season on July 31, 2020 against the Chicago White Sox. The Royals honored the memory of former owner and National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum board member, David Glass, with a special patch bearing his initials on their jerseys this season.
