Florida Marlins World Series ring

Description2003 World Series Championship ring awarded to the Florida Marlins, engraved with "Loria" for Jeffrey Loria, the team owner. The ring is made of 14-carat white and yellow gold, 228 diamond chips, 13 rubies and a rare teal diamond. The ring's face has "World Champions / Marlins" with a yellow gold fish on a baseball made of diamonds. Fish's eye is a teal diamond and ball stitches are rubies. One arm has "World Series 100th Anniversary" with the 2003 World Series, MLB logos, and "F 4 / NY 2; F 4-3 Cubs; F 3-1 SF." The other arm has "Loria / 2003 / 91-71 World Champions / Owner" and World Series trophy. Interior of the band is engraved, "Florida Marlins 043 / Intergold 14K."
Bio/Historical NoteThe Florida Marlins defeated the New York Yankees four games to two to win the 2003 World Series.
