DescriptionWhite leather batting gloves with blue nylon vents on the finger and thumb stalls. Back sides have white and blue embroidered manufacturer logos as well as a diagonal stripe of vented nylon. Wristbands are black stretch nylon with hook-and-loop fasteners and "Dri-Fit" in raised white lettering on the top of the strap. Palm sides are white textured leather. Palm sides of the wrist straps have "5" in white on black labels.

Bio/Historical NoteBatting gloves worn by Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals on August 24-29, 2004 when he hit his 39th and 40th home runs of the season. Pujols became the first player with 30 or more home runs in his first four major league seasons and the fourth player with 100-plus RBI in his first four seasons.
