Fever Pitch prop cap

DescriptionDark blue cap, size 7 1/2, with a red felt "B" on the front and "Red Sox" in red lettering on the back. Underside of the bill has "Boston Red Sox" embroidered in white lettering on the proper right side near the edge along with "1939" in red lettering beneath. Dark blue cloth sweatband has labels in the rear, including "Cooperstown Collection / Twins Enterprise," "7 1/2" and "Made in Macau / 85% Acrylic 15% Wool." Black seam taping on the interior has MLB logos and "Cooperstown Collection" in white lettering.

Bio/Historical NoteDie-hard Red Sox fan Ben, played by Jimmy Fallon, wore this cap in the 2005 romantic-comedy Fever Pitch. The film's ending required a rewrite when Boston won the 2004 World Series.
