DescriptionRed cap, size 7 1/4, with a white embroidered "W" logo outlined in black on the front. There is an MLB logo at the rear center. Underside of the bill is black with a small MLB Authentication hologram sticker in the center near the sweatband. Interior of the cap has a black cotton sweatband with manufacturer labels, including "Authentic Collection / Performance Headwear / Official On-Field Cap," "New Era" and a sizing tag. Interior seam taping is black with "59FIFTY" in white lettering. "31" is handwritten in black ink on the interior of the proper right front panel.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals on May 11, 2016 at Nationals Park while tying a major-league, nine-inning record by striking out 20 Detroit Tigers en route to a 3-2 complete-game victory.
