Steve Finley 300th Home Run helmet

DescriptionBlack plastic batting helmet with an orange vinyl "SF" logo on the front, a proper right ear protector and a white "Rawlings" logo sticker on the top crown. Top crown has four ventilation holes. Rear of the helmet has a black and white "Finley" sticker above an MLB logo. Interior sweatband is padded with foam and covered in black vinyl. There is extra padding around the ear protector, at the crown and rear. Interior crown has a manufacturer label, a warning label and a circular MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Underside of the bill has a raised "M" in the center.

Bio/Historical NoteSan Francisco Giants center fielder Steve Finley donned this batting helmet on June 14, 2006 when he hit his 300th career home run. His first-inning blast sparked the Giants to an 11 - 4 victory over the host Arizona Diamondbacks. With the homer, Finley became the sixth member of the 300 home run/300 stolen base club, just days after former teammate Reggie Sanders.
