Bio/Historical NoteOfficial 2004 World Series baseball used by the Boston Red Sox to record the final out of the World Series during Game 4, which was played on October 27, 2004 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO. Boston Red Sox pitcher Keith Foulke fielded the ball hit by St. Louis Cardinals Edgar Renteria and threw it to first baseman Doug Mientkiewicz for the final out of the game and series. Boston won the 2004 World Series in four straight games.
