DescriptionSnare drum with a wooden shell with an iridescent covering and numerous radio and team stickers on both the inner and outer sides. There is an opening for a handle on one side of the shell. The batter head has a circular Oakland Athletics sticker as well as a stamped "Remo" label. Side of the shell has a metal placard, "Pearl / Marching Percussion / Serial No.: 971237."
Bio/Historical NoteDrum used by Krazy George Henderson, cheerleader at numerous sporting events, including Oakland A's games. He claims to have invented "The Wave" at Game Three of the 1981 ALCS between the Oakland A's and New York Yankees playoff game, October 15, 1981. However, this drum is not from that game.
