DescriptionGray, blue, and red leather and nylon shoes with gray laces. Outer sides have blue and red manufacturer logos over mesh. Above is "Fantom Fit" in blue and red lettering. Inner sides have three printed images of Larry Doby (right shoe) and Jackie Robinson (left shoe). Tongues have the numbers of Doby and Robinson printed on them in blue (14 on the right, 42 on the left). Interior undersides of the tongues have manufacturer labels. Toe boxes have been signed and dated in blue ink. Heels have names in blue lettering, "Doby" on the right and "Jackie" on the left. The lower rubber portion of the heels have been stamped "RevLite" with MLB Authentication hologram stickers below. Insoles are red with "New Balance Baseball / Data Driven Platform" imprinted into the soles. Bottom soles are blue plastic with a manufacturer logo in the center and red cleats.
Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Curtis Granderson of the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 1 of a doubleheader on April 17, 2018 when the Blue Jays celebrated Jackie Robinson Day (their April 15 game in Cleveland was postponed due to weather). Granderson appeared as a pinch-hitter in the game. The left shoe represents Jackie Robinson with images and "JACKIE" on the back, and the right shoe represents Larry Doby with images and "DOBY" on the back.
