DescriptionWhite gold 2007 Boston Red Sox World Series championship ring that was presented to Commissioner Bud Selig. The ring has clear stones outlining top, black lettering on face: World Champions, center has a dark blue faceted stone on which a diamond shape is set with clear stones and red stones set in the in the shape of two red socks. Left side has raised letters, "Commissioner Selig," and a red "B," flanked by two small World Series trophies. Right side has raised letters, "7th World Series Championship," with an image of Fenway Park and "4-0 Sweep." Inside is engraved, "Jostens / Boston Red Sox 10/28/07."
Bio/Historical NoteThe Boston Red Sox defeated the Colorado Rockies four games to zero to win the 2007 World Series. Bud Selig served as Major League Baseball's ninth commissioner from 1992 to 2015.|Came with box, which was not accessioned.
