DescriptionWooden bat, 32 ounces, with natural stain handle, taper and knob, and dark brown stain barrel. There is a silver stripe around the perimeter of the taper and a silver "R / Rawlings / Adirondack / Made in USA" logo to the right. Near the end of the barrel is "Big Stick / Kelly Shoppach / -Pro-" in silver lettering. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker to the left of this lettering. Barrel end tip is cupped. Knob end has "31 / Shoppach" handwritten in black ink along with "M288BB 80 08" inscribed in the center.
Bio/Historical NoteOn July 30, 2008, Shoppach used this bat to hit three doubles and two home runs, becoming the second American League player to collect five extra-base hits in one game.
