DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of the Chicago Stars Ladies' Baseball team, undated. The team is arranged in three rows with the front two rows sitting and the back row standing. Positioned in front of the team is two crossed baseball bats, a catchers mask and a baseball glove with a baseball on top. The caption on the front of the photograph (not shown) reads "Group of Chicago Stars Ladies' Base Ball Club." Although the exact date on the photograph is unknown, the image appears to be from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.
