DescriptionA letter dated August 2, 1940 from Mel Allen to Bob Mantler thanking him for correcting an erroneous statement made about the years in which the Giants won their last two pennants. The letter is typed on Columbia Broadcasting System, Inc. letterhead and signed by Allen. A postmarked envelope (not shown) addressed to Mantler is also included.
