42 prop hat

DescriptionLight yellow fedora-style hat with a light tan hat band affixed around the perimeter of the hat near the brim. Proper left side of the hat band has been fashioned into a bow shape with a metal "Bigalli" pin in the center. Interior of the hat has a light brown cloth sweatband with "Bigalli / tradition" in white lettering on the proper right side, a small gold ribbon bow in the back of the sweatband along with a brown tag to the left of the ribbon, "L Large/ Toyo / Made in Ecuador."

Bio/Historical NoteIn the movie "42", Harrison Ford wore this hat while portraying Branch Rickey, the visionary Dodgers' president and general manager who searched for a man with the talent and courage needed to integrate baseball. "42" explored the racial integration of American professional baseball by player Jackie Robinson, who wore jersey number 42 through his Major League career.
