DescriptionWhite rubber square base with a raised triangular pattern on the top along with "Schutt / Original Hollywood Bases / Jack Corbett / Hollywood Bases" in the center with an MLB logo beneath. Sides of the base have blue stickers on each side with the New York Mets logos and "2017 / Citi Field." Underside has four metal bars securing the rubber to the frame with three screws a piece. There is a safety sticker mounted on one side of the pipe that goes into the ground. In one corner there are two circles with numbers and an arrow pointing to two numbers to mark the year and month the base was made, 11 and 16. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker in one corner.
Bio/Historical NoteFirst base from the first three innings of the May 20, 2017 game between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the New York Mets Mets at Citi Field. In the bottom of the first inning of that game, Jose Reyes recorded his 2,000th career hit, a single.
