DescriptionWooden bat, 31.5 ounces, with dark gray handle, taper and knob and black painted barrel. Barrel end tip is cupped. A gold stripe separates the black painted barrel from the gray taper. Center of the barrel has a gold "TL / Tucci Lumber" trademark logo. Barrel end has "TL-YM1-M / Yoan Moncada / Pro Select Limited / 07081688.6 / 33.5 / 31.5" in gold lettering with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker to the left. There is a small circle on the taper which shows the natural wood grain of the bat with a black mark that has bled slightly. Knob end has a gold sticker with a manufacturer logo.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Red Sox prospect and Futures Game MVP Yoan Moncada during the 2016 All-Star Futures Game in San Diego on July 10, 2016. Moncada, a switch hitter, used this bat to hit a right handed 2-run home run off pitcher Anthony Banda. Moncada's World Team won 11-3 over the US team in the 2016 MLB Futures Game on Sunday afternoon at Petco Park. Moncada received the Larry Doby Award as the game's MVP. He has been named the number 1 prospect in Baseball America's midseason top 100 rankings.
