Gary Carter helmet

DescriptionBlack plastic helmet, size 7 1/4, with an orange "SF" logo on the front. Top of the bill is autographed, "Gary Carter #8." "CARTER" is in white lettering on a piece of black tape stuck on the back of the helmet at a bit of an angle, appearing to cover up a white logo sticker of some sort. Interior of the helmet has a white sweatband. There is a circular gray pad at the interior top crown. There is a warning sticker as well as a size sticker on the interior. There is raised lettering on the underside of the bill, "American Baseball Cap / Media, Penna."

Bio/Historical NoteHelmet worn by Gary Carter of the San Francisco Giants during the 1990 season. Carter became a free agent following the 1989 season and signed with the San Francisco Giants for 1990, before moving on to the Dodgers in 1991.
