Nathan Eovaldi World Series cap

DescriptionNavy blue cap, size 7 1/4, with a white and red "B" logo embroidered on the front. There is a white manufacturer logo embroidered on the proper left side and an MLB logo embroidered at the rear center. Proper right side has a rubber 2018 World Series logo patch. Interior black cotton sweatband has several labels, including "Authentic Collection," "New Era" and a sizing tag. "17" is handwritten in black ink on the interior front panel. Underside of the bill has an MLB Authentication hologram sticker in the center near the sweatband.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by pitcher Nathan Eovaldi during the 2018 World Series. Acquired during the season, Eovaldi posted a 1.61 ERA in the Postseason in a split role between the rotation (two starts) and the bullpen (four relief appearances). The expected Game 4 starter, Eovaldi pitched 6.0 innings in relief during the historically long Game 3, going 5.0 scoreless frames before allowing Max Muncy's walk-off homer in the 18th inning. He had already pitched perfect innings of relief in Games 1 and 2.
