DescriptionWooden bat, 33 ounces, with dark brown stain painted on the barrel and taper, and a significant crack running the length of the bat. There is a black "M / Marucci" logo in the center of the barrel and "Handcrafted For / D.J. LeMahieu / AR13-M Pro Model" near the end of the barrel in black lettering. Below this there is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Handle is wrapped in black Lizard tape. Barrel end tip is cupped and has a second MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Knob end has inscribed numbers for manufacture date, model, and player number.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Yankees infielder D.J. LeMahieu when he recorded the first regular season Major League hit in London during the first inning of the first game of MLB's London Series against the Red Sox on June 29, 2019. He continued to use the bat for some time afterwards and was named that week's American League Player of the Week on July 1.
