DescriptionBlack cap, size 7 1/8, with an orange button at the top crown and an orange embroidered team logo on the front. There is an orange embroidered manufacturer logo on the proper left side. There is an orange, white, and black embroidered MLB logo at the rear center. Underside of the bill is black with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Interior black cotton sweatband has several manufacturer labels at the rear, including "New Era," "Authentic Collection / Performance Headwear / Official On-FIeld Cap," and a sizing tag. "56" underlined twice is handwritten in black marker on the interior proper left front panel, towards the top crown.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull when he pitched a complete-game no-hitter on May 18, 2021 in Seattle. It was the 5th no-hitter of the 2021 season and the 8th in Tigers history, the first since Justin Verlander’s in 2011.
