DescriptionNavy blue cap, size 7 1/8, with a white embroidered team logo on the front and a white embroidered manufacturer logo on the proper left side. There is a red, white, and blue embroidered MLB logo at the rear center with a black patch to the left with "44" embroidered in white and a black patch to the right with "35" embroidered in white. Proper right side of the cap has a 2021 World Series logo patch. Underside of the bill is black. "7" is handwritten in black marker on the interior proper left front panel. Interior black cotton sweatband has several manufacturer labels at the rear, including "New Era," "Authentic Collection / Performance Headwear / Official On-FIeld Cap," and a sizing tag.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson during the 2021 World Series, during which he homered twice in the 6 games. A Georgia native who grew up rooting for the Braves, he fielded the final out, throwing to first base for the force out that clinched Atlanta’s first World Series championship since 1995. The back of the cap bears two small patches recognizing Hall of Famers who passed away prior to the 2021 season, Hank Aaron (44) and Phil Niekro (35). These patches were on Braves hats all season long.
