DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Bernie Allen dressed in a Minnesota Twins home uniform posing in a fielding stance. Allen has a thick jacket on underneath his jersey. His knees are bent and torso is leaning forward with his hands in front of his body poised to catch a groundball. His left hand has a glove hovering above the dirt with his right hand next to it. Adams is looking to the left of the camera (not shown) towards the ground. One person can be seen behind him in the outfield close to the outfield wall. There are multiple advertisements along the outfield wall including one for "Pure Ice Co.". Four stadium floodlights tower beyond the outfield. Two cars can be seen in the background to the right where the outfield wall ends. Based on Bernie Allen's time with the Minnesota Twins and the uniform style, this image was taken between 1962 and 1966.
