DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Walter Alston dressed in a Brooklyn Dodgers road uniform standing by a box of bats in a dugout looking out on the field. Alston is stepping up and resting his arms on his knee. Two other men are also in the dugout off to the right. One is a younger man wearing a sweater with a collared shirt and scratching his ear. The other is a man in a suit wearing sunglasses with a tag in his pocket resting his hand on the bats in the box. Based on Walter Alston's time with the Brooklyn Dodgers and the uniform styles, this image was taken between 1954 and 1957.
